Policy Change.

From the Office of the State Fire Marshal – Bomb Squad

It is the policy of this Office that all blasting companies send notification 24 hours in advance of all blasting operations conducted in the State.

Starting Jan 1, 2020. all Blasting Site Notifications will be entered online. Simply go to https://mdosfm.wixsite.com/blog and click on “Submit Blasting Notification”. This electronic form will be taking the place of your daily blasting notifications you normally email or fax to our office.

You can start using this form now to do your daily blasting notices. Complete all of the fields on this form and then submit. Our office will be able to see and retrieve your notices for any blasting job that is taking place in Maryland.
