Final words from your 2008-2009 President
I would like to take this time to thank everyone for making this year a great year! Despite the shape of our economy, the uncertainties of our new presidency, and all the changes and fears that our members faced, I think despite it all-- the Potomac Chapter Members did an excellent job rallying together and supporting one another! Kudos to you all.
We had an amazing 2-day Seminar this fall with great turn out. As President and on behalf of our Board, we couldn’t have asked for a better show of participants and panel of speakers. Hats off to everyone who worked so hard this year, and continue to make each year better for our members. Our website is on it’s way to better serving our members. Dave Miller has done a superb job in getting the members newsletter to us all—with excellent content, pictures, and current information. At the Annual ISEE meeting in Colorado this spring, the Chapter received the 30-year ISEE Chapter award and top membership award. Both excellent awards, so congratulations to everyone involved in our chapter!
The schedule is set for next year…meetings are being set, speakers are being planned, topics are exciting and changing with the time. I look forward to seeing you all at the next meeting and thank you for allowing me to serve your chapter as President. It was a great experience and I was privileged to serve each of you.
